2021-12-25 M45 Pleiades
My first attempt at photographing Messier 45, the Pleiades.
While the target object was the Pleiades, the result is more of a general night sky image that happens to include the Pleiades. Expect for the harsh blue aberration and slight out-of-focus, I thought it looked nice.
The yellow-reddish gradient is caused by the direction in which the image is taken, angled towards a higher-density population area. It is much more noticeble here compared to the Andromeda Image taken the same night but at a steeper angle towards the Atlantic Ocean.
Zooming in we can see the Pleiades cluster, but I did unfortunately not manage to capture any of the famous nebulae. We do, however, see traces of the California Nebula shining through.
