2023-10-20 Cygnus Region
An attempt at capturing the entirety of Cygnus.
This one is quite interesting I think. Compared the 2022-11-05 the colors are quite different. This one here is colder with a bluish tint. You can really see it in the blue stars.
My hypothesis is that this happened due to the "intrusion" of faint Northern Lights tinting the entire frame. Below is a single light frame from the stack, and the green hue is pretty obvious.
I'm quite sure this occured around 23:00 when the horizon also turned completely green. There was none of the characteristic movement of the aurora, just a complete green veil, as shown in the image below.
