2022-08-21 Third Quarter Moon

My first attempt photographing the moon.

I'm amazed at how much detail this old telephoto lens managed to capture squinting at the moon. Definitely looking forward to trying this at a full moon.

Sidenote

Captured this image while adjusting for exposure (13/10s). Thought it looked nice. It is essentially the inverse image of the stacked one above as we here see some details in the areas that lie in shadow while the sunny side is completely blown out.
